Well, truth be told, Joanne used to be one many moons ago but this episode's title reflects the fact that our host and moderator had to fly SOLO on this podcast installment while the others were on vacation. So our ever intrepid liturgist forged ahead to explain the changes to what is now being called the Order of Celebrating Matrimony and still found time to report some survey results, discuss women deacons AND share a homily for the 18th Sunday in Ordinary Time. Not bad for someone who always worries about crashing and burning when flying solo. Grab a cold one and get informed about all the changes to the Wedding ritual - and, as always, thanks for your support. Enjoy!

As promised, here's more information on the revised ritual:

Liturgy Training Publications (LTP) will be presenting a virtual workshop on The Revised Rite of Marriage: Exploring the Theology of Marriage and the Changes to the Rite on Thursday, August 11, 2016 beginning at 1pm ET/12pm CT. For more information or to sign up click here.

You can order your own copy of the ritual from a number of publishers, including: Liturgical Press, Catholic Book Publishing, and the USCCB.
