While the rest of the panel trudged through the snow to present the annual WinterSing (more on their antics next week), Joanne kept the home fires burning by welcoming a fabulous guest to the podcast. Sarah Vabulas, the Catholic Drinkie herself, heard the (desperate) plea for guests for this week and stepped up to the plate to discuss not only the homilies for the Second Sunday of Lent but also how her blogging ministry came to be, her new book (pre-ordering now at Amazon) and hand holding at the Our Father. Grab your own favorite brew, get comfy and join us for a spirited discussion, complete with technical difficulties (all those folks in Atlanta streaming House of Cards...). Cheers!

Honorable Mentions

Sarah is also a regular panelist on that friendly train wreck known as CATHOLIC WEEKEND, from the folks at SQPN. Check out them and add them to your podcast lineup (after us, of course!).

If you're not familiar with Sarah's mentor, Lino Rulli, he is the Catholic Channel's CATHOLIC GUYHe's a pretty funny dude (at times) so if you're into Catholics with a sense of humor, he's your man.

This week's common psalm suggestions (Psalms 51, 91 & 130) are from Marty Haugen and David Haas' collection PSALMS FOR THE CHURCH YEAR VOLUME 1  - the original edition. Check them out for next year.
